CAPTURING THE MAGIC OF PRIDE | A CELEBRATION OF LOVE, IDENTITY, AND UNITY

Since Canterbury Pride's first march in 2016, I’ve had the absolute honor of capturing the magic of this incredible event. Over the years, I’ve met so many wonderful people, learned so much, and in the process, discovered more about my own identity. Pride is more than a celebration—it’s a space for love, expression, and unity, and it’s been a privilege to photograph every moment of it.

From the sea of beautiful flags and the proud pooches in their rainbow gear to the stunning outfits, makeup, rides, activities for the little ones, and the delicious food stalls, every moment at Pride is a celebration of diversity and community. I am passionate about using photography to highlight this vibrant energy, capturing the joy, strength, and individuality of every participant. Through my lens, I aim to immortalize the powerful moments that define these celebrations of love and identity.

Having volunteered and photographed at Kent's Pride festivals, I’ve had the privilege of documenting colorful expressions and heartwarming connections. My goal is to create images that not only reflect the beauty of the LGBTQ+ community but also serve as a reminder of the importance of visibility, acceptance, and the celebration of who we are.
