HERNE BAY PRIDE SILENT MARCH: A POWERFUL PRESENCE IN STILLNESS

There are moments when silence speaks louder than words—when simply standing together, walking together, is a statement in itself. The Herne Bay Pride Silent March was one of those moments. With every step, we honored those we’ve lost, those who have fought for their rights, and those who continue to fight today. It was a march of remembrance, resilience, and unwavering love.

As we moved through the streets in quiet solidarity, the message was clear: we are here, and we will not be erased. In a world that often demands we justify our existence, there is power in simply being. Even in silence, our presence speaks volumes.

This march wasn’t just about reflection—it was a call to action. To my trans friends, family, and everyone who walked beside us: your voices matter, your lives matter, and you are never alone. This community, bound together by love and strength, stands with you. Always.

To those outside our community, this is your moment to listen, to learn, and to stand with us. Educate yourself and those around you. Be an ally not just in words, but in action. Help build a future where safety, acceptance, and dignity are rights, not privileges.

Herne Bay Pride's Silent March was more than just a walk—it was a statement of resilience, a promise to keep fighting, and a tribute to every soul who has ever had to struggle simply to exist. Let’s carry this energy forward and continue to build a world where everyone can live openly, safely, and with pride. 🩷🏳️‍⚧️
