COLLECTING GHOSTS

Not every photograph in the Lost & Found project finds its way home. Some remain a mystery—images of people whose names, stories, and families have been lost to time. The Unknown page is dedicated to these photographs, preserving them so they are not forgotten.

Through careful restoration and research, I work to uncover any details that might lead to identifying these individuals. Sometimes, a handwritten note on the back, a familiar landmark, or a distinctive uniform provides clues. Other times, the stories remain locked in the past, waiting for someone who recognizes a face to come forward.
